Code Crusader 5.0 for Linux Improves Upon Award Winning Development Environment

Los Angeles, Calif. March 1, 2006 - New Planet Software proudly announces the release of Code Crusader 5.0, an upgrade to its graphical integrated development environment for Linux. We have made a huge number of improvements to our award winning development environment, many by request from you, our customers. Key advances include:

Enhanced task system provides true support for CVS, Subversion, and other version control systems
Support for Mac OS X and Cygwin platforms
Support for CMake as an alternative to makemake
Increased language support, including:
- Support for C#, Erlang, JavaScript, and SML
- New or improved syntax highlighting for Eiffel, PHP, and Python
Window docks now provide tabs to make it easy to find a particular window.

Other upgrades include improvements to the inheritance tree parser for Java, the option to show whitespace characters in the editor, and Perl syntax support in regular expression search and replace.
